Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 19, 2026
Silicon Prairie Technologies ("we," "us," "our") operates siliconprairietechnologies.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Information we collect
Information you provide: name, email, phone number, and message content when you submit a quote request, book a service call or consult, or otherwise contact us directly.
Booking information: when you schedule through our calendar (Cal.com), we receive your name, email, and the appointment details.
Automatically collected information: basic usage data (pages visited, general location, device/browser type) via analytics.
We do not currently offer customer accounts or logins, so we do not collect or store passwords.
How we use this information
To respond to quote requests, confirm and manage bookings, send transactional emails (confirmations, service updates), and understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.
We do not sell your personal information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months.
Who we share it with
We use third-party service providers to run the site and business; each only receives what's necessary to perform its function:
- Sanity (content management)
- Supabase (storing form submissions and bookings)
- Resend (sending confirmation and notification emails)
- Cal.com (scheduling)
- Stripe (payment processing, for invoicing — we do not store your card details ourselves)
- Vercel (hosting and basic site analytics)
- Umami and PostHog (analytics, see below)
Data retention
We retain quote request and booking information for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and maintain business records, and delete it on request (see below).
Cookies and tracking
We use minimal cookies, primarily to support content-preview functionality for our own internal use, not for advertising or third-party tracking. We do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, as there is no industry-standard way to do so yet.
Analytics tools we use
Umami: aggregate, sitewide traffic counts (pages visited, general location, device/browser type) across the entire site. It does not use cookies and does not track you individually across visits.
PostHog: used only within the Listing Accuracy Checker tool and the client portal onboarding flow, to understand which steps of those specific processes people complete or drop off from (for example, a search being submitted, or a listing being confirmed). We do not use PostHog's session recording feature, and we do not use it to record what you type, click, or view anywhere on the site.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or opt out of any future sale or sharing (though we do not currently sell or share your information) by emailing us using the contact information below. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of sale or sharing. Contact us using the information below to exercise these rights.
Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws (e.g., Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut) may have similar rights; contact us and we'll address your request under applicable law.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the effective date above will reflect the latest revision.
